University Pastoral Work Group

WHAT IS UNIVERSITY PASTORAL WORK GROUP?

Campus Ministry guides and accompanies the University Pastoral Work group:
- A place that fosters creativity, productivity, and spiritual and social engagement of students through the sharing of ideas, thoughts, and opinions;
- A way to help us live our Christian faith and meet daily challenges through faith; and
- A voice to spread the Good News by living our true love, care, and compassion.
 

OBJECTIVES:

- To be a sign of Jesus’ presence in the University
- To testimony that Christ is the Way, the Truth, and the Life
- To live the Teaching of the Bible
- To form prayer groups within Faculties and Departments

PILLARS:

- The Holy Bible
- The Sacraments, especially the Eucharist and Reconciliation
- Private and Community Prayer

ACTIVITIES:

- Christmas and Easter Spiritual Retreats: Spiritual weekends with lectures and prayer moments
- Summer Camp: Three-day camp with spiritual and entertainment moments
- Charity Events On-Campus: Lunches for the elderly and the sick, Christmas party for children from orphanages or children with special needs, Lunch for NDU’s foreign workers and other charity events to express our care and love for those in need.

MEETINGS:

Mondays (Bible discussion) & Thursdays (spiritual lecture), during lunch break
