A study of the legal responsibilities affecting the operations of the hospitality and tourism industries, including aspects of innkeeping, occupier’s liability, trades practices, licensing, health, taxation, and employment. Other topics include: corporation legislation, the law of contract, the role of ethics, and a comparative approach to foreign legislations relating to hospitality and tourism industries. Prerequisite: TTM 201.
