A supervised on-the-job work experience in the food and beverage business, particularly restaurants and catering. Arranged with a Department approved cooperating institution, this field experience of no less than 500 hours emphasizes operations and management functions in service, production, inventory, and cost control. Student must check course guidelines before registering. Prerequisite: FBM 324.
