Human Resources Development - HRM 625

This course familiarizes students with the main role of Human Resources Management. The purpose of this course is to provide students with an assessment of critical issues regarding the policies, theories and practices of Human Resources Development (HRD) in an organization. It covers topics such as recruitment, staffing, compensation, training and development, succession planning, social dialogue, performance management and performance appraisal. Also, the course offers an overview of the trends and the future of HRD, such as human performance technology. Students will develop strategies involved in HRD.
