Mathematics for Computer Games and Animation - MAT 227
This
course provides a conceptual understanding
of the mathematics that forms the underlying
basis of 3D graphics and games. It includes
a focused review of different mathematical
topics in calculus, algebra and numerical
methods that are required in the design of
game engines and 3D graphics. This course
provides not only theoretical mathematical
background, but also many examples and
exercises on how these concepts are used
to affect how a game looks and plays.
Prerequisites: MAT 214 or MAT 215.
