Advanced Organic Chemistry - CHM 603
The course focuses on the
study of thermodynamics, kinetics, and
stereochemistry of reaction mechanisms.
Topics include nucleophilic substitution,
elimination, radical reactions, aromaticity
and electrophilic substitution in aromatic
rings. In addition, a comprehensive study
on non-classical carbocations, carbanions,
carbenes, and carbanoids is considered.
