GROWING BEYOND PMP

The Graduate Division in the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics (FBAE) at Notre Dame University-Louaize (NDU) hosted on June 30, 2018, the Second Annual Professional Development Day (PDD) “Growing Beyond PMP” organized by the Project Management Institute (PMI)-Lebanon Chapter of the U.S.-based nonprofit professional organization for project management.

Leading speakers in the field and authors from overseas shared with the 136 professionals representing different industries their extensive knowledge and experience in the areas of Program Management, Agile, Business Analysis, and Change/Transformation Management, and inspired participants to grow beyond project management practice.

FBAE Graduate Program Assistant Dean Dr. Roy Khoueiri informed participants that NDU officially became the first Project Management Institute Registered Education Provider (PMI-R.E.P.) in Lebanon, offering courses at the graduate level. An applicant, enrolled in the MBA Project Management emphasis, would be able to earn a MBA and up to 135 pre-approved PDUs (required to acquire PMP certification).

Participants benefited significantly by meeting and learning from trendsetters, building new networks, gaining knowledge on the latest trends, and developing leadership and communication skills. Each participant was awarded a “Certificate of Attendance” and also earned six Professional Development Units (PDUs) in the process.
