"UNBOXING DIGITAL CONTENT" SEMINAR PRESENTED BY KHOULOUD SRAJ

The Department of Media Studies (DMS) at the Faculty of Humanities (FH), Notre Dame University-Louaize (NDU), in collaboration with the International Advertising Association (IAA) Advertising Club at NDU, organized on September 27, 2017, a three-part seminar titled "Unboxing Digital Content" presented by Digital Media Manager at Universal Media Khouloud Sraj.

An overview of digital media rife with examples of our increasingly digitized world kicked-off part one of seminar

Sraj said, “Without access to the right information, all accessible technology is useless and inefficient.”

Part two of the seminar focused on the importance of asset content and creation suitable for digital usage and followed by a thorough content strategy process, starting with identifying business objectives, translating them into communication strategies, and creating the relevant content for distribution.

A review of best practices for digital content creation (specifically videos and mobile adapted visuals) formed part three of the seminar.

The seminar concluded with a case study of Lebe'lik (Lebelik.com is a leading e-commerce platform dedicated to promoting the fashion scene in Lebanon). For the case study, the class was divided into separate groups to develop a content strategy, as a key tool of the marketing strategy.
