Deenah Fakhoury

Deenah Fakhoury brings a wealth of multidisciplinary experience spanning both corporate and NGO sectors. For nearly two decades, she has been dedicated to bridging the gap between these spheres, recognizing the importance of collective action and cross-sectoral partnerships in fostering sustainable development on both national and global scales.

Currently serving as the Executive Director for Global Compact Network Lebanon, Deenah leads a network of businesses committed to advancing sustainability and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) within the framework of the UN Ten Principles, which encompass Human Rights, Labor Rights, Environment, and Governance. Her role also extends to representing the Middle East on the Global Network Council, where she advocates for global sustainability initiatives and partnerships.

In recognition of her commitment to education and empowerment, Deenah was appointed as a Malala Education Champion within the Lebanese Chapter in 2022. Additionally, she actively contributes to the Lebanese Private Sector Network, furthering her engagement in driving positive change within her community.
