Sibelle Al Hayek
Sibelle Al Hayek currently holds the position of Assistant Professor of Nutrition at Notre Dame University in Lebanon. Since January 2021, she has been dedicated to teaching nutrition and health courses for both undergraduate and graduate students. With a license as a dietitian since July 2015, Dr. Al Hayek brings a wealth of practical experience to her academic role.
She earned her Ph.D. in Medical Nutrition Sciences from the University of Kansas, USA, in 2021. Throughout her academic and professional journey, she has actively participated in various research projects both in Lebanon and the USA. Her research interests primarily revolve around the significance of nutrition and dietary intake methods, alongside investigating the factors influencing body composition.
Furthermore, Dr. Al Hayek is a certified Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI), having completed comprehensive training in risk-based preventive controls development and implementation by the Food Safety Preventive Controls Alliance (FSPCA) in August 2021. Her commitment to continuous learning and expertise in food safety further enrich her contributions to the field of nutrition and health.
