Conference Welcome Reception
The conference reception will take place on the first day at the end of the sessions at the Dome Cafeteria at NDU. During the reception, drinks and bites will be served. Music students will be delighted to perform jazz and light oriental music while you make new acquaintances. Please be advised that the reception is not seated.Date: Wednesday 9 November 2016

Admission: admission is free for all conference participants and accompanying persons but requires confirmation during the registration process due to limited places.
Conference Banquet
Date: Thursday 10 November 2016
Time: 20:00-23:00
Location: Le Royal Hotel, Dbayeh
Dress code: casual smart
Admission: conference participants and accompanying persons could choose to attend the banquet against a fee of US$70 paid during the registration process. This fee covers a seated dinner and transport from NDU to the banquet venue.
Music Performance

Students from the Music Department at FAAD will perform for your delight during the opening ceremony, the reception and the banquet. They will play jazz and blues, and light Lebanese music. Also, Ms. Xiaojing Wakim will play music during the opening ceremony. Ms. Wakim is a Chinese language instructor, music teacher, and trained musicologist at Notre Dame University—Louaize , the Lebanese American University and Wellspring Learning Community in Lebanon. She is originally from China from where she received a Bachelor’s degree in Music Performance and an M.A. in Musicology. She has completed courses in the teaching of Chinese as a second language at Beijing Language and Culture University. Ms. Wakim combines her significant per¬for¬mance career with her vast expe¬ri¬ence as an educator in order to preserve China’s musical heritage and promote Chinese language and culture around the world. |
NDUIFF 2016
The Notre Dame University International Film Festival was founded to support young filmmakers with a chain of festivals, to make their films seen by a large audience.NDUIFF welcomes students and independent short films, in three categories: Fiction, Documentary and Animation, from Lebanon and all over the world. BEIRUT MARATHON
The dates of CS2 correspond to a yearly event that includes people from Lebanon and abroad in an exceptional experience of a car-free Beirut: the Beirut Marathon.
