Production Design - AVF 335

This course examines the role of the production designer and art director in film. It will investigate the contribution that production design brings to the narrative and the story and how to identify such an input while viewing a film. Students will learn the basic principles of how to develop a visual concept, design the set, create the budget, and work together in a team to build the finished set.
