Overview on Urban Design and Planning - MAR 612

This course is meant to introduce the graduates to the various local, regional, and international approaches to Urban Design and Planning. Backed with specialized literature, the students will be exposed to case studies in Lebanon, the Arab region, Europe, and the USA. From the conventional planning methods to the multidisciplinary approaches, the course is thought of as part of a wider framework, which fosters critical thinking and innovation in the field.
