Musicology III - MUS 216
This
course requires the mastering of the musical
elements and languages of the post-Romantic
period, the 20th century, and contemporary
music. It uses advanced educational material
in harmony and sight singing relative to the
serial language of music, the tone scale, the
polyrhythmic, the polytonality, algorhythmic,
multiserial, aleatory, and all composition
schools of the 20th and contemporary period
with an analysis of scores and choir singing.
Prerequisite: MUS 215.
