Design Thinking and Innovation - ENT 455
This course provides
students with an interactive, highly dynamic,
and deeply experiential approach to leading
user-centric innovation in a corporate
setting. Design thinking combines creative
and critical thinking that allow information and ideas to be organized, decisions to
be made, situations to be improved, and
knowledge to be gained. During the course,
students will learn creative problemsolving techniques, a structured approach
to innovation that combines best breed
of design thinking, innovation, creativity,
leadership, and entrepreneurship. This
course will embrace multiple schools of
thought, including design thinking, systems
thinking, entrepreneurship, and business
strategy, thus helping students develop
skills in rapid idea generation and opportunity
recognition while maintaining the customer
need at the center. Prerequisites: ENT 301
or ENT 302.
