Fundamentals of Hospitality and Cultural Tourism - HTM 201
This
course provides an in-depth overview of the
world’s largest and fastest growing business. It
introduces the students to Tourism, Hospitality,
and Event (THE) operations with a focus on career
opportunities and organizational structures. It also
focuses on the human relationship skills needed
for success in THE operations. The course also
introduces the students to basic management
concepts and industry terminology, with the
service culture as an essential component. Real-life Tourism, Hospitality, and Event business
examples and highly interactive classes provide
the students with the opportunities to develop
problem solving and decision-making skills.
