Rooms Division Management - HTM 224

This course provides an overview of the management practices, policies, procedures, and flow of activities that are necessary to manage the rooms division department of a hotel. Students will acquire the necessary practical knowledge and skills to properly handle property management, security, and housekeeping operations in general and front-office operations in depth. The four stages of the guest cycle from pre-arrival to departure will be explored along with the interaction with supporting departments and operations. Prerequisite: HTM 201.
