Hospitality IT and Digital Transformation - HTM 319
This course
provides a managerial overview of information
technology and digital transformation in the
hospitality industry. Special emphasis is placed
on utilizing information technology systems
such as point-of-sale, inventory tracking, and
reservation networks including distribution
channels and e-channels in the effort to make
operational and managerial decisions for
the organization. Students will gain a good
operational knowledge of the major software
adopted in the hotel, events, and food and
beverage industries. Corequisite: HTM 224.
