Events Project Management and Logistics - HVM 433
The creative and
business elements of events need to be
designed, planned, coordinated, and finally
executed. This course examines the creative
process and applies organizational/operational
principles to ensure a successful event from
start to end. The course scrutinizes the
process for executing an event from concept
and pre-production to implementation and on-site logistics management and measurability.
The course content builds on a planning and
project management framework and considers
elements of theming, budgeting, marketing,
logistics, site planning, entertainment,
management of subcontractors, and labor
issues. Prerequisite: HVM 311, Senior Standing.
