Research Methods in Biology - BIO 605

This core course is designed to introduce students to conduct scientific research. Under the supervision of an instructor, students select a research project through which they learn about literature review including the access and use of print and electronic resources, proposal writing, research methods, experimental design and analysis in addition to scientific writing. At the discretion of the instructor this project can be extended in taking an additional tutorial course. This may serve as the nucleus of research for students’ thesis.
