Theory of Fitness Coaching - PES 420
This course incorporates the
basic components of fitness and wellness
in order to better understand human health
and well-being. Students will learn to
design, implement, and evaluate personal
fitness and wellness programs. Topics
covered will include incorporating exercise
into every lifestyle, including youth, the
elderly, and expecting mothers. In addition,
nutrition, weight management, and stress
management will be studied. The latest
fitness and wellness research will also be
analyzed and interpreted. Prerequisite: PES
358.
