Deviance - PSL 323
This course
focuses on psychopathological behavior in its
social context. Questions about normality and
abnormality are studied, and topics covered
include juvenile delinquency, rape, substance
abuse, psychopathy, sociopathy, and sexual
pathologies such as all the paraphilias (e.g.,
fetishism, exhibitionism, etc.). Forensic
psychology and criminal profiling are also
tackled. Prerequisites: PSL 201, PSL 217.
