Type in Motion - GDP 464
Students will learn how to communicate
effectively using type, image, and sound
progressively with increasingly complex
needs for motion graphics. Students will
learn how to inform while underpinning
the media constraints. In parallel, they
will learn how to create interface design
and promotional broadcasting graphic
movies using different software platforms
and advanced tools tracking 2D and 3D
animations. Furthermore, the students are
introduced to the principles of 3D animation.
They will learn how to sketch, illustrate,
and design characters as well as develop
contemporary design solutions with new
approaches to type, image, and characters
for screen using appropriate tools and
techniques to develop 3D motion graphics for multimedia. Students will investigate
and formulate their senior project proposal.
