History of Photography - PDP 223

This course gives an overview of the history of photography starting from the pioneers’ era in the beginning of the 19th century until the mid-20th century. It will cover the influence of science and technology in the creation of the image, as well as the challenge between painters and photographers. Prerequisite: PDP 216.
