Overview:

This camp offers hands-on experiments and activities in subjects like Computer Science, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. The camp aims to make learning enjoyable, memorable, and inspiring for all participants, fostering a love for science and exploration. Additionally, it provides insight into career opportunities in the applied and natural sciences fields, both locally and internationally. 


Daily Schedule:

Start Time: 9:00 AM

End Time: 2:30 PM


Suggested Program:

Each participant can choose one of two tracks. Click here to see the program.

 

Activities are rotated to ensure participants experience a variety each day.

 
Participants:

Open to school students in Grades 9, 10, 11, and 12.


Outcome:

Exposure to practical applications of scientific knowledge sparks curiosity and enthusiasm, motivating attendees to pursue further education and careers in the science fields at Notre Dame University-Louaize (NDU). Participation in a science summer camp can catalyze lifelong learning, personal advancement, and achievement in scientific pursuits.

 
Certificate of Completion:

Upon successfully completing the camp, participants will receive a certificate of attendance. 


Fees and Payment:

The fee for the camp is USD 50. Payment is required at the NDU Business Office in Shouf before July 11, 2024, or via online payment as decided by the University. This fee covers laboratory materials needed for experiments, snacks, and refreshments.
