NGOs Training Program (USAID)

Program Overview

Notre Dame University-Louaize (NDU), funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) through the Community Support Program in Lebanon (CSP), is launching a specialized NGO Training Program.

Developed in coordination with the Ministry of Interior and Municipalities, this program empowers NGOs by enhancing local governance, operational efficiency, and strategic planning while fostering a sustainable financial framework for long-term impact.

Participants will access exclusive training materials and studies prepared through USAID-funded initiatives in Lebanon, available via NDU’s e-library.

The Community Support Program (CSP) aims to improve services and economic opportunities in marginalized Lebanese communities, providing technical assistance to civil society organizations and private sectors to strengthen capacity and sustainability.

  • Practical Financial Management for NGOs: Internal Controls
  • Proposal/Grant Writing
  • Fundraising, Resource Mobilization, and Sustainability
  • Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL)
  • Procurement
  • Action Planning
  • Community Engagement and Social Mobilization
  • Governance and Accountability in NGOs
  • Humanitarian Response and Crisis Management and Digital Tools
  • Volunteer and Staff Management
  • Conflict Sensitivity and Peace Building
  • USAID Rules and Regulations
 

Cost

Participants benefit from a subsidized fee of USD 25 per workshop, reduced from the original USD 120, thanks to USAID support. 

 

Duration

Each module lasts 1 day, offered on a rolling basis over three months (January to April 2025).
