The NDU Campus Ministry and Pastoral Work strongly believe that the joy of Christmas is in the giving. That’s why on December 22, 2016, children from disadvantaged homes were invited to the NDU main campus to participate in a Christmas celebration organized especially for them. The excited children were first taken to visit the Nativity Scene near the main administration building yard before heading to the Chapel where they prayed. After prayers, the festivities really took off. The Exhibition Hall was filled with the smiling faces of children who were awed and thrilled by the magic acts performed by magician Anthony Barsona. The children were then treated to a theater act performed by the Pastoral Work members who also provided lively dance and animation routines. The crowing jewel of the party, however, was when each child received a beautiful Christmas gift, which members of the NDU community had generously donated during the Charity Tree event.
