CINEMATOGRAPHY WORKSHOP HELD AT NLC

The Division of Audio Visual Arts (DAVA) at the Faculty of Humanities (FH), Notre Dame University-Louaize North Lebanon Campus (NDU-NLC), held on October 12, 2017, a cinematography workshop presented by Julien Kai, a fresh NDU graduate who has embarked on a career in cinematography and directing.

Kai began the workshop by introducing to students the functions, features, and settings of the C300 Mark II before moving on to compare and contrast the 5D Mark 4 and Sony A7. He then engaged students in practical color-grading exercises and lectured on the continuous process of cinematography, especially in post-production.

In a short Q&A that ended the workshop, eager students asked Kai numerous questions, regarding how to start and build a career in cinematography as well as what strategies to use for continuous self-development.
