October, 2019 – Hot on the heels of his last publication, Assistant Professor of Mathematics and Statistics at the Faculty of Natural and Applied Sciences (FNAS) at Notre Dame University-Louaize (NDU), Dr. Abdo Abou Jaoude, has published another book with Cambridge Scholars Publishing. This book, titled The Analysis of Selected Algorithms for the Stochastic Paradigm and over the course of ten chapters and sixty-five algorithms, covers the analysis for random and stochastic phenomena in a variety of fields including: basic probability, random variables, mathematical expectation, special probability and statistical distributions, random processes, and Markov chains.
The book also includes an additional section titled “The Complex Probability Paradigm and the Brownian Motion”. A development of A. N. Kolomogorov’s system of axioms as applied to Brownian motion, the theorem is Dr. Abou Jaoude’s own creation and was the subject of twelve research papers and various algorithms from 2010 to 2019, culminating in a new mathematical paradigm that he calls “The Complex Probability Paradigm.”
Dr. Abou Jaoude’s research in the field of applied mathematics specifically in the area of diagnostics and prognostics as they are applied to complex dynamic systems remains a strong passion, with more research undoubtedly on the way.
