The Department of Audio Visual Arts (DAVA) at Notre Dame University-Louaize North Lebanon Campus (NDU-NLC) organized on March 6, 2018, a lecture on film production with guest speaker Alphonse Ghossein, president and CEO of 7th Level Inc., Real Est8 Inc., and Ghossein News Distributing Inc.
Ghossein imparted to his audience an invigoratingly creative A to Z explanation on the production process. He significantly expanded on the current —and somewhat limited — understanding of the role of producers and executive producers working on mammoth productions, citing important examples taken from his direct involvement in mega Hollywood and Canadian blockbusters.
He also gave students some pointers to help them better understand the overall production process. One of the pointers included the importance of constant communication with experts in the field and the benefits of building a successful production team.
An informative Q&A followed the lecture, which helped #NDUers form a clear framework for their future projects.
Ghossein was delighted with the capacities demonstrated by the #NDUers and impressed by the intelligent questions asked during the Q&A.
