The Supreme Council of Notre Dame University-Louaize (NDU), composed of the Superior General and Governing Council of the Maronite Order of the Blessed Virgin Mary O.M.M., has appointed upon the approval of the Board of Trustees, Fr. Bechara Khoury O.M.M. as President of NDU to succeed Fr. Pierre Najem O.M.M.
Fr. Khoury has a longstanding history at NDU with 12 years of experience between 2005 and 2017 ranging from Director of Student Affairs followed by Vice President for Finance as well as running various capital projects. Fr. Khoury holds a Doctorate degree in Economics from the University of Dijon, France, as well as a specialized degree in the management of educational institutions. He also holds a Master’s degree in Theology from the Catholic University of Angers, France.
The University would like to thank Fr. Najem for leading and safeguarding NDU throughout these challenging times and wishes him Divine blessings on his new path as the Superior General of the Maronite Order of the Blessed Virgin Mary and Head of the University Supreme Council.
