1999 marked the year in which Notre Dame University-Louaize (NDU) received its first programmatic accreditation, when the International Advertising Association (IAA) accredited the BA in Advertising and Marketing at the Faculty of Humanities (FH). In 2023, the IAA has reaffirmed this accreditation through 2026. NDU is still the only university in Lebanon with an IAA-accredited degree in Advertising and Marketing more than two decades later.
IAA accreditation holds tremendous prestige as it signifies an educational institution's unwavering commitment to advancing and upholding the highest standards of education and ethical practices in the field of advertising and marketing. This recognition extends not only locally but also regionally and globally. Additionally, the accreditation opens up a plethora of international resources, participation in global events, and establishes an enduring presence in both the academic and job markets. Notably, students enrolled in an IAA-accredited program gain access to exclusive academic membership privileges regardless of their geographical location.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the Advertising and Marketing program at the Department of Media Studies for the reaffirmation of its IAA accreditation. This achievement is a testament to the program's ongoing pursuit of excellence and sets the stage for many more years of outstanding educational experiences to come.
