The Department of Architecture at Notre Dame University-Louaize (NDU) participated in a meeting of Arab architecture schools held between November 2 and 3, 2017, at the Lebanese University’s Hadath Campus. This meeting was organized in collaboration with the Lebanese Architects Union and several Lebanese and Middle Eastern participating architecture schools for the purpose of establishing a “Union of Arab Architecture Schools” of which the Department of Architecture at NDU forms a part.
The collaborative two-day workshop established the meeting’s key aims and objectives, and selected coordination and follow-up committees from all participating universities. The first activity to follow this meeting will be the participation of two Architecture graduate students in a senior students’ projects exhibition taking place around mid-December 2017 in Amman, Jordan.
