Notre Dame University-Louaize (NDU), Lebanon’s preeminent non-profit Catholic institution of higher education that adopts the American model of liberal arts education, is pleased to announce that it is today officially ranked among the nation’s top three universities, following its full accreditation by the New England Commission for Higher Education (NECHE), previously the Commission on Institutions of Higher Education (CIHE) of the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, Inc. (NEASC).
A comprehensive evaluation visit in April 2018 by the Commission’s Visiting Team officially secured NDU’s initial accreditation, automatically placing the University among the top universities in Lebanon and abroad. Currently the NECHE accredits 241 colleges and universities in the New England region, such as Harvard University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Boston University, Tufts University as well as 12 institutions overseas.
Today, NDU has joined this prominent list of universities.
