January 24, 2019 – The members of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Lebanon held a talk as part of their Home Court Initiative at Notre Dame University-Louaize (NDU). Elie Safar, University Internal Auditor at NDU and Board Member and Chairperson of the Education Committee of IIA Lebanon, organized the event. Safar invited Dr. Viviane Naimy, Interim Dean and Professor at the Faculty Of Business Administration & Economics (FBAE), to give a talk on cryptocurrencies, and how auditors should engage with this new medium of exchange, along with prominent NDU faculty and staff, and members of the IIA.
The Home Court Initiative was launched by the IIA’s educational branch to host free-of-charge events for their members to share knowledge, network with each other, and earn free Continuing Professional Education credits.
