As a firm believer in the crucial role of career guidance in shaping the future of Lebanese youth, Notre Dame University-Louaize Shouf Campus (NDU-SC) with doors wide open welcomed secondary school students on Tuesday, November 28, 2017, from 9:00 a.m. till 5:00 p.m., to provide them with a unique opportunity to explore their academic and career options.
During this academic event, around 760 students from various schools in Shouf and the surrounding areas, including Aley and Jezzine, visited the SC to learn more about the available programs, scholarships, and financial aid schemes, and to become better acquainted with the campus and its facilities.
Current students, faculty, and staff warmly welcomed the visiting students and engaged them in a wide range of interesting educational games, challenges, experiments, and entertaining activities in an effort to share with them the exuberant and vibrant University atmosphere as well as to accentuate the valuable and enriching experience the SC offers.
This event was marked by the exquisite touch of architecture students who designed and displayed intriguing work and demonstrated the true potential and capabilities of SC students.
The success of this event was nothing but the culmination of the concerted efforts of SC students, faculty, and staff, and an affirmation of the University’s commitment to spreading knowledge and understanding and helping students live and realize their potential.
