NDU Department of Media Studies team won second place in the “Unleash Your Creativity Contest” organized by Hosri Holding. The finals took place on May 4, 2017, in the Bernard Fattal Auditorium, Sin el-Fil, Beirut, where 11 groups of semi-finalists from 7 local universities competed.
Under the mentorship of Sandra Younes, the NDU team comprised of Christina Karam, Kassandra Saleme, Rayan Merhy, and Lara Faddoul.
For this year’s contest, NDU students worked throughout the semester to prepare a full-fledged campaign for the Urmet Group brands, represented in the Middle East by Sacotel. Students underwent numerous and rewarding coaching sessions to better prepare them to present their creative concepts in front of the jury.
As second-place winners, students received a prize from SGBL bank and an internship opportunity at the advertising agency Impact-BBDO.
