Recognized as one of the best Business Schools in Lebanon, the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics (FBAE), is an internationally recognized business school accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), therefore putting the FBAE among the five percent of the world's Business Schools that are accredited by AACSB and among the two percent best league outside the United States of America, that have earned such an outstanding accreditation. This accreditation means that the FBAE has demonstrated an ongoing commitment to excellence in teaching, research, curriculum development, and learners’ success.
Our highly qualified faculty are conducting research in every major aspect of the field of business, finance and economics. Prior to joining NDU, most of the faculty enjoyed significant work experience in managerial positions and played active roles in advising national and multinational financial institutions. Faculty are regularly winning awards in teaching and research through presenting and sharing their findings in international symposiums and forums.
The FBAE has spent the last two decades building on the mission for excellence in education, values, culture, and ethics. With this in mind, the FBAE has developed a modern, comprehensive, and fulfilling curriculum leading to a Bachelor of Business Administration, BBA, with nine different concentrations, to a BS in Economics, to a Bachelor of Hotel Management and Tourism, BHMT, with four different concentrations, to an MBA, to an MS in Financial Risk Management and to an MS in Business Strategy. We have been periodically updating our academic programs, and course content to reflect the most up-to-date market practices and research outputs.
The FBAE has ongoing engagement in the management of curriculum by developing and updating its undergraduate and graduate programs, by designing and implementing the Assurance of Learning process for each program, and by providing feedback on the learning process to ensure continuous improvement in the achievement of our learning goals. Our ultimate purpose is to provide our students with innovative and engaging learning experiences that reflect the current and emerging trends of the business profession.
We prepare our students for stimulating and rewarding careers in all areas of business. We offer them a range of ways in which they can engage with business practice, from internship with companies based in Lebanon or in the Gulf region, to assessments of real-life business plans and projects. Our connections with the industry allow us to deliver up-to-date education to ensure they develop the skills and mindset required to meet the current and future needs of the job market and excel in the workplace.
