We are thrilled to share with you the schedule and highlights of this highly anticipated celebration.
1. Processional
This is the formal entrance of the faculty members and graduating students, into the ceremony venue. They proceed to their designated places on the stage or seating area.
2. National Anthem
The ceremony begins with the performance of the national anthem.
3. Opening
Dr. Michel El Hayek, Vice-President for Academic Affairs, will initiate the ceremony by delivering the opening remarks.
4. Invocation
The Most Reverend Abbot Edmond Rizk, Superior General of the Maronite Order of the Blessed Virgin Mary, will lead the audience in an invocation, offering a prayer for the success and well-being of the graduates.
5. Hymn
The NDU Choir will perform a moving hymn, filling the venue with melodious harmonies and inspiring the attendees.
6. Address by NDU President
Reverend Father Bechara Khoury, the President of NDU, will deliver an address to the graduates, offering his heartfelt congratulations, wisdom, and encouragement for their future endeavors.
7. Address by Guest Speaker
His Beatitude Cardinal Mar Bechara Boutros Al-Rahi, Maronite Patriarch of Antioch and All the East, will deliver an insightful address as the guest speaker, offering valuable perspectives and words of inspiration to the graduates as they embark on their professional journeys.
8. Valedictorian Speech
The valedictorian of the graduating class of 2024, Dany Antoine Bou Chebel, will take the stage to deliver a speech on behalf of his fellow graduates, reflecting on their journey, expressing gratitude, and sharing aspirations for the future.
9. Presentation of Graduates for Conferral of Certificates: IDEAL Program
The graduates of the IDEAL Program are called forward one by one to receive their well-deserved certificates.
10. Award Distribution for "Academic Excellence"
Outstanding students who have demonstrated exceptional academic achievements will be recognized and presented with awards for their excellence.
11. Presentation of Graduates for Conferral of Degrees
The following academic deans will present the graduates from their respective faculties for the conferral of degrees:

12. NDU Anthem
The NDU Anthem is performed, expressing honor and loyalty to the university and its community.
13. Recessional
The commencement ceremony will conclude with a recessional, marking the official end of the program.
